It was fairly unanimous, everyone we spoke to either said Estrada was the best sea food restaurant or the best restaurant in general, and they were right. Our waiter was friendly, and could carry on a conversation, telling us all about Tulum and being genuinely interested to know where we're from. Every drink he suggested was a winner, the Don Diablo was my favourite. We asked to see the lobster and they looked awesome but we decided to go with the grilled octopus and the fried fish of the day and they were both amazing. The octopus was grilled to perfection, it was tender and meaty, without being rubbery. The fried fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. It's one of those places that you have to visit when you're in Tulum.
Their tacos sent me into a taco trance that transported me to another dimension. A delicious, delicious taco dimension, where their seafood is perfectly cooked and well seasoned, with a hint of basil. Time? no longer exists here. Their mango margaritas I’d sacrifice my first child for. I would move here and become an indenture servant if it meant eating these tacos for the rest of my life.
My partner and I had a lovely dinner at this place and really enjoyed the food. I had fried fish (catch of the day) which I found a bit too dry for my taste but it was still delicious. My partner ordered shrimp and octopus tacos and they were the best tacos he’s ever had in his life (his words)! I’m not a big fan of octopus but I had a bite and can confirm: it was full of flavour and super delicious! Service was excellent, portions were perfect! We even got a complementary dessert as it was my partner’s birthday - such a sweet touch! 100% recommend!
It’s a very good restaurant! The grilled fish is very fresh and flavorful. The octopus is tender and pleasantly chewy. The seafood soup has a rich and savory taste.
This place had few tourists and many locals and we felt right at home. The service was impeccable and the food came fast. We had fried fish which was great (with a little lime and salt) the fish was fresh, the guacamole was tasty and I would come here for the live music and the food again and again

We had the prawns as a starter to share. They were the best prawns we have ever eaten. Incredibly well seasoned despite the shell. Simply amazing. My octopus was also delicious and fresh, as were the side dishes. The tacos with prawns and octopus were also very tasty. You get free nachos and dips to snack on at the beginning. The waiter was very friendly and dedicated and called us a cab.
Excellent atmosphere. Incredible food. Quality seafood. This place is a must visit for dinner. Visited two nights in a row to taste the menu a bit more. Quick service and not to forget the large generous tacos upon arrival for free with dips!! So good. A wide selection of food with generous portions, quality!!! Recommend octopus, catch of the day and shrimps. 11/10!!
